ALL NEW COACHING STAFF FOR RIVER VALLEY
River Valley welcomes a whole new coaching staff to wrestling program. Shane Liegel takes over as Head Wrestling Coach for River Valley. He is the only 3X state champion in RV History and a National Champ for Loras College. Joining Shane is his brother Seth Liegel. A 2X state champ for RV and a member of the UW Wrestling team. Rounding out the remaining staff is Dustin Hatfield and Elijah Alt. Both state champs for RV in the time. Savannah Johnson continues her role as Head Girls Wrestling Coach for RV. Gavin Wipperfurth comes back and will be the Youth Coordinator! WOW! I will be adding the remaining videos that did not get converted over soon. All of the video's are on YouTube if you can't find one on here. As always, if you stumble across an old VHS tape of some WIAA State Finals give me a call. I'd love to add to the collection.

This site will be the main source of information for anyone that is or wants to get involved in the RV Wrestlebackers. Or if you’d just like to keep up to date with what is going on, this will be the place to look.
River Valley Wrestlebackers was founded in 1978 by a multitude of RV Wrestling fans for the betterment of Wrestling. The River Valley Wrestlebackers has supported the wrestling program for over 30 years through numerous fundraisers. Our main fundraiser is the annual Fruit Sale in November/December.
